Last updated: April 14, 2026

At Mindory, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our interactive knowledge workspace.

1. Information We Collect

We collect different types of information to provide and improve our services to you:

  • Information You Provide to Us: Account registration details (such as your name, email address, and profile data) as well as the user-generated content you actively create (including notes, code snippets, workspaces, and whiteboard drawings).
  • Information We Collect Automatically: When you access Mindory, we automatically log standard usage data. This may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, and pages viewed, which helps us ensure platform security and optimize performance.
  • Cookies and Local Storage: We use cookies and browser local storage strictly for essential operations, such as keeping you authenticated during your session and saving your local preferences.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our services
  • Improve, personalize, and expand Mindory
  • Understand and analyze how you use our platform
  • Communicate with you regarding updates, security alerts, and support

3. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information and documents. While no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data.

4. Sharing Your Content

Mindory allows you to create both private and public spaces. Content in your private spaces is accessible only to you and those you explicitly invite. Content you choose to publish or share in public communities is accessible to others according to your visibility settings.

5. Third-Party Services

We may employ third-party companies and services (such as authentication providers, payment processors, and analytics tools) to facilitate our service. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

6. AI Integrations and Model Context Protocol (MCP)

If you choose to use our Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to connect Mindory to third-party AI assistants or large language models, those tools will be able to retrieve and read your requested data (such as your public spaces). Please be aware that once data is pulled into an external AI tool, its usage is governed by that specific tool's privacy policy.

We strictly protect your private data. Spaces that you designate as "Private" are completely insulated and are NOT accessible to any AI tools or external integrations.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top.
